How Door-to-Door Service Works

• Mountain Valley Transit provides door-to-door service in Salida, Buena Vista, and surrounding areas. We are closed Saturday and Sunday.
• Salida service operates Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm. Buena Vista service operates Tuesday through Friday, 8am to 4pm. 
• Rides are available on a first-come, first-served basis — so the earlier you make your request, the more likely we’ll be able to accommodate you.
• Rides can be scheduled up to 14 days in advance. When you call, please be ready to provide your name, phone number, and pick-up and drop-off locations.
• Please be ready at your scheduled time. We often get very busy and might not have time to wait if you’re late.
• Please tell us if you’re bringing a bicycle or mobility aid (wheelchair, walker, etc.). Friends, family, and service animals are also welcome to join you. Just let us know when you reserve.
• To connect with Bustang Outrider earlier than 8:00am in Salida or Buena Vista, please call at least 2 business days before to check availability.
