Do you need a ride to a medical appointment in Denver, Colorado Springs, Pueblo, or another destination in Colorado?

Please contact our Dispatcher at (719) 530-8980 and request transportation to a non-emergency medical appointment.

Rides to certain medical appointments may be covered by Medicaid. If we determine that your request might be covered by Medicaid, we will likely ask you to provide your Medicaid number and date of birth for eligibility verification. Once we verify Medicaid will cover the trip, we will make sure the appropriate documentation is completed with your cooperation for compliance purposes.

If you do not have Medicaid, you have two other options:

1. MVT will quote you a reasonable fee for your requested ride outside our regular service area. While MVT’s services are free within the San Luis & Ark River Valleys, fees apply for trips to Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Denver, and other distant locations within the state.
2. UAACOG Area Agency on Aging also offers assistance with transportation costs to non-emergency medical appointments. To find out if you’re eligible, email tom.mcconaghy@uaacog.com.
